GENESIS – FAITH BASED BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS

PURPOSE: To promote an environment that inspires each member to exchange quality business referrals with one another with the intention of successfully growing our business.

MISSION STATEMENT: Our goal is to grow our businesses with the love and help of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

 RULES AND CONDUCT:
As a group of faith based business professionals, the members of Genesis are expected to strive for the highest standards of personal and professional integrity. We want our light to shine before others so that they will see our good works and glorify our Father in heaven! (Matthew 5:16)

With this in mind we agree to:

1. Treat other members with dignity and respect
2. Express our opinions freely, but courteously.
3. Remember we are here to help each other, not just ourselves
4. Speak within the time allotted when it is your turn out of respect for others.
5. When responding to a question or a specific topic, stay focused on that topic. Make your point clearly and briefly.
6. If you have an agenda item you must present it to the “Program Chairperson “the day before the meeting.
7. We are “Leads Driven”. You will be required to give leads and referrals to other members.
8. References are required and there are ethical sets of business standards to which all members must adhere.

ATTENDANCE:
For you to be able to maximize this wonderful marketing venue, it is necessary to attend on a regular basis. We require adherence to the following rules:

1. Be on time, unless unavoidable
2. 75 percent attendance is required to maintain membership. Each quarter attendance will be reviewed by the board and if attendance falls below 75%, you will be given a choice of whether you would like to continue as a member.

3. If your absence is known in advance, provide a substitute or proxy. This proxy can be someone in the group or non-member. Their job will be to read your 30 second commercial that day. They will also have an opportunity to share their business, product or service.

*** We suggest it less than professional to sacrifice the integrity of our group for lack of interest/attendance. This policy is critical for all of our success.
